LG plans to leave the cell phone market.

LG CEO Kown Bong-seok said he's "tired of constantly losing money" in an interview with a renowned Asian magazine.

Despite their efforts to re-emerge or even remain stable in the cell phone market, they have been generating production costs in this line for approximately six years without seeing any economic return.

Kown has been at the company for just over two years and has reportedly pledged to make cell phone sales much more profitable this year, surprising users with his new statements just as 2021 has begun.

Despite this, we must say that the company has quite striking devices such as the LG Velvet and LG Wing, however, given the low demand for these terminals in the market, this may have caused Kown to change its decision.
